
Open: Rocha (9th-12th), Kirbaroglu, Castillo, Twitty, Bosshamer, Shabib, Alienes, Bayaua
Ernesto Bayaua and Andrew Rodriguez plowed through exceptional fields at the sixth stop on the Poison Lone Star Billiards Tour, held at Big Tyme Billiards, in Spring, Texas. Bayaua went undefeated, ousting Rodriguez, 6-4, in the 64-player, open 9-ball division final, while Rodriguez took down Jason Harkrider in overtime, 5-4, 4-0, to capture the 64-player, amateur 9-ball division.
On July 12th-13th, 2025, title sponsor Poison by Predator Cues, sponsors Predator Cues, Alamo Billiards, Outsville Billiards, and Team Straight Pool Eye, facilitated another successful event for players across Texas. Nearly 100 competitors, including 19 Gulf Coast Tour women, participated in the sixth stop, held at the popular Big Tyme Billiards in Spring, Texas. Big Tyme provided twenty-four, 7’ bar tables for tournament play, all covered with Predator Arcadia Reserve, tournament blue cloth, in a non-smoking environment. Predator sponsored the Arcos II ball sets used on each table, and Accu-Racks were provided by Outsville Billiards for discussion-free racking.

Bayaua
In the open division, winners’ side final eight, Eylul “LuLu” Kibaroglu bested Natalie Rocha, 6-2, while Ernesto Bayaua derailed Raed Shabib, 6-3. John Castillo defeated Alan Bowman, 6-5, and Sonny Bosshamer slid past David Twitty, 6-5. The next round witnessed Bayaua defeat Kibaroglu, 6-4, and it was Bosshamer over Castillo, 6-2. In the hot seat match, Bayaua punished Bosshamer, 6-3. On the west side, and in the final eight, Twitty eliminated Alienes, 6-2, but fell to Kibaroglu, 5-1. Rodriguez eased by Shabib, 5-4, and sent Castillo packing, 5-3. Rodriguez went on to beat Kibaroglu, 5-2, and Bosshamer, 5-3. Rodriguez was on fire, winning eleven consecutive matches to reach Bayaua in the finals. In the final match, Bayaua took charge, ending Rodriguez’ run, 6-4. Congratulations to Ernesto Bayaua on capturing a hard-fought victory.

Segree, Rodriguez, Young, Rojas, Twitty, Harkrider, Reeves, Bridgwater
In the amateur division, winners’ side final eight, Ryan Bridgwater detoured Andrew Rodriguez, 5-3, while Jason Harkrider shut out Robbie Salinas, 5-0. Chris Young overpowered David Twitty, 5-3, and Danny Carlin slid past Derek Segree, 5-4. The next round witnessed Harkrider overwhelm Bridgwater, 5-2, and Young outmove Segree, 5-1. In the hot seat match, Harkrider overtook Young, 5-1. On the west side, and in the final eight, Twitty eliminated Ray Reeves, 4-0, and Bridgwater, 4-1., while Rodriguez denied Victor Rojas, 4-2, and Bridgwater, 4-0. Rodriguez stopped Twitty, 4-3, and Young, 4-2, to meet Harkrider in the finals. In the first set, Rodriguez outplayed Harkrider, closing the set out, 5-3. In overtime, Rodriguez wasted little time, shutting out Harkrider, 4-0. Congratulations to Andrew Rodriguez on another well-played event.
