Max Eberlte went undefeated to capture the inaugural Poison Lone Star Billiards Tour Event at Iturbide Pool House in Laredo, Texas. Eberle cruised through an elite, 41 -player, open 9-ball field, ousting Sylver Ochoa in the final set, 7-4.

On February 7th, 2026, title sponsor Poison by Predator Cues, sponsors Predator Cues, Alamo Billiards, Outsville Billiards, and Team Straight Pool Eye, facilitated another successful event for players across Texas, drawing 41 competitors and paying out nearly $5,000 in prize money. Iturbide Pool House hosted a first-rate event, providing twelve, 9’ tables for tournament play, in a non-smoking environment. Predator sponsored the Arcos II ball sets used on each table, and Accu-Racks were provided by Outsville Billiards for discussion-free racking.

Eberle
In the open 9-ball event, winners’ side final 8, Sylver Ochoa bested David Medina, 7-2, while Tony Torres defeated Miguel Ordonez, 7-5. Max Eberle knocked down Ruben Monsivais, 7-3, while Mike Oliva, Jr., outplayed Fernando Garcia, 7-4. In the next round, Ochoa sent Torres west, 7-3, while Eberle stopped Oliva, Jr., 7-4.

The hot seat match witnessed Eberl overtake Ochoa, 7-3. On the west side and in the final 12, Gerardo Alvarez fell to Monsivais, 5-2, while Leal ended Garcia, 5-0. Medina edged out Claudio Martinez, 5-4, and Martin Ramos denied Ordonez, 5-2. Down to the final 8, on the one-loss side, Leal went on to eliminate Monsivais, 5-2, and Torres, 5-3. Medina sent home Ramos, 5-3, but fell to Oliva, Jr., 5-4. Junior phenom, Oliva, Jr., overwhelmed Leal, 5-1, locking up fourth place. In the next round, Ochoa stopped the junior player, 5-2, to meet Eberle in the final. In the final match, Eberle was on repeat, denying Ochoa once again, 7-4.
